Accountant

Help the team in the course of their work. May help Senior Accountant directly, helping the team complete daily tasks, or may work indirectly, keying in data and compiling information for the team but leaving the final analysis, audit, and approval to the Senior Accountant himself. Relies as much on administrative skills as accounting knowledge and understanding of financial concepts. Relies on knowledge of accounting terminology and accounting systems. Follows the direction and judgement of Senior Accountant. Reports directly to the Senior Accountant

The position will include key responsibilities such as:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

• Enter and code financial transactions such as daily, weekly and monthly sales appropriately

• Process payments as well as documents like invoices

• Reconcile invoices received with departmental billings

• Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered and/or goods sold

• Make and track payments

• Review employee expenses and make reimbursements

• Make bank deposits and keep up records

• Track expenses as they relate to specific projects and jobs

• Validate invoices against items or services received

• Check all financial transactions for accuracy

• Key data into company accounting system

• Prepare, process and monitor Local Purchase Order (LPO) for central kitchen, café, head office, Green N Go and

HIA

• Disburse funds as needed

• Develop and maintain a filing system

• Directly coordinate with suppliers and or clients when it comes to financial activities of the company

• Monitors Kahramaa, Qatar cool, internet connection billing and payment schedule

• Maintain, monitor and keeps records of supplier agreements, leasing agreements and any business agreements

for payment, renewals and others

• Closely coordinate with the bank regarding the WPS, reconciliation, letters and other financial bank activities of

the company

• Prepare bank letters, payment terms and other letters related to finance activities
