Description Roles and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of heavy equipments including engines, hydraulic systems, electrical system sand other components.

  • Authorize major overhauls and maintenance initiatives.

  • Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
•Review spare parts requisitions. •Order parts as necessary and track inventory levels.
  • Evaluate manpower sufficiency and performance formulating M&R Estimation (Quotation)
•Prepare quotes and final costs for all repair works and report discrepancies on parts and machineries. •Determine the spare part stock requirement for all MILAHA equipment and the special tools to carry out the Maintenance function effectively.
  • Maintain full chronological maintenance history (Failure causes, Maintenance resources, spare parts consumed)

Qualifications Education & Professional Qualification:
  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Masters degree preferred
Professional Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in oil and gas industries in the related position
  • Must have good knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings, repair procedures
Geographic Experience:
  • GCC experiences preferred
  • Valid Qatar driving license is advantage
Computer and Language Skills:
  • Proficiency in computer applications for record-keeping and reporting as well as experience of ERP systems.
Market / Industry /Functional Knowledge:
  • Must have extensive knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings, and site repair procedures of all electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
Related Professional Training, Certification, or Membership
Mandatory: •Must be strong in hydraulic and electrical trouble shooting that includes how to read Hydraulic and electrical schematics.
Preferred: •Must have wide knowledge / experience and troubleshooting of the following crane Liebherr Or DEMAG Or GROVE, Tadano.
