Hiring for a leading manufacturing company:

• Education: Any Graduation
• Role: Process Operator
• Process Operator: Will play a crucial role in orchestrating waste management processes, fostering a culture of health, safety, and environmental consciousness, and overseeing the efficient disposal of hazardous waste.

Skill set required:

• Proven experience in hazardous waste management, with a strong understanding of waste treatment processes and regulations.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Ability to manage a diverse team and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Proficiency in record-keeping, documentation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with waste management equipment and facility maintenance.
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
• Strong ethical values and a dedication to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and coordinate the seamless collection and haulage of hazardous waste from waste generators, following the guidance and instructions provided by Qatar Energy.
• Develop and cultivate a culture of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) consciousness within the hazardous waste treatment centre, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage the daily operations of the hazardous waste treatment centre, including scheduling, waste sorting, treatment procedures, and waste disposal methods.
• Collaborate with the Environmental Compliance Manager and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that all activities align with environmental regulations and company policies.
• Supervise and lead a team of waste management personnel, providing training, guidance, and support to maintain a high level of operational efficiency and safety.
• Monitor and maintain the hazardous waste treatment equipment and facility, ensuring that all machinery is functioning properly and following maintenance schedules.
• Work closely with waste generators to address any concerns, provide technical guidance, and offer solutions for efficient waste management practices.
• Keep detailed records of waste collection, treatment processes, and disposal activities, maintaining accurate documentation for regulatory compliance and internal reporting.
• Continuously assess and improve waste management processes to optimize efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
• Collaborate with the Qatar Energy team to stay updated on waste collection schedules, treatment methodologies, and any changes in waste categorization.
• Oversee the communication and reporting of incidents, accidents, and potential hazards to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
